ABOUT

Salten Salmon AS is a part of the Salten Aqua group and is situated in Bodø above the arctic circle in the northern parts of Norway. We produce a range of different salmon products, fresh and frozen.

The company was founded in 2018 and has been producing salmon products in new and modern premisis since may 2019.

Salten Salmon produces high quality products that fulfil the most rigorous specifications. Through continuous work with approval, monitoring and improvement of the various processes in the company, we ensure that our products are safe and of high quality. This not only gives the best possible quality, but it also provides consistency of quality that meet the requirements and expectations of our customers.

SUSTAINABILITY

Salten Salmon intends to operate a sustainable business. We are constantly working to reduce our footprint and find less energy-intensive solutions. Sustainable food processing is all about finding new ways of meeting present needs without compromising quality and food safety. Together with our partners we strive after finding the best solutions to fulfil our yearly sustainability goals. 

CERTIFICATIONS

Salmon Salmon is approved for the production of ASC, GLOBALG.A.P. and Kosher products. Furthermore, the company is certified according to the FSSC 22000 FOOD standard. You can find our certificates by clicking on the logos below.

FLEXIBILITY

Salten Salmon can offer a wide range of fillets and portions. In addition to all fillet sizes and trims, fresh and frozen, we can pack IVP chain pack products with a variable number of portions and also products in paper boxes with your desired layout.

We strive to minimize wastage and therefore pack bits&pieces, bellyflaps, backbones, backs and heads.
